The manufacturing process begins with the preparation of raw materials, including soaking and refining ray clay, which is then blended with various other components to achieve a smooth and consistent mixture. Different blends result in distinct product characteristics. The clay is carefully hand-formed using molds, then glazed and fired at the appropriate temperature in either wood-burning or gas kilns. The final stage—firing and controlled cooling—ensures the durability and finish of each piece.
